The Unione dei Comuni di Monte Idda e Fanaris brings together Villaspeciosa, Decimoputzu, Vallermosa and Siliqua in the heart of Southern Sardinia, just 30 minutes from Cagliari and the sea.
The area welcomes you with rolling hills, Mediterranean scrub forests, and historical landmarks spanning centuries. From Acquafredda Castle to the sacred area of Matzanni, from the Mosaic of San Cromazio to the countless nuraghi scattered across the landscape, you’ll find nature, history, and authentic flavours all within easy reach.

We are a community of around 12,000 residents spread across more than 320 km² of territory.
Our registered office is in Siliqua, with operational headquarters in Vallermosa, and the presidency currently held by Mayor Francesco Spiga. We work together to enhance what makes this area unique and to offer you the true spirit of Sardinian hospitality — the kind that feels like home.
